Dear Parents of Awana Clubbers,
We are pleased to have your children as Awana Clubbers at First Baptist of Edgewater. Our leaders have planned an exciting year.
This handbook is designed to answer most of your questions about our club. Feel free to contact us for more information. Additional information about Awana can be found at Awana.org.
We need your help in making this year a success for you and your clubbers. You can do that by encouraging your children to work on their handbooks during the week, being sure they are prepared and on time for meetings, and praying for them and Awana. Clubbers need to dress in play clothes with rubber soled shoes. They need to be in uniform, bring dues (fifty cents per week), missionary offering, their handbook, and Bible (preferably NIV) to every meeting.
Every meeting has a special feature. Often times clubbers receive extra Awana bucks for participating. See the calendar in the center of this booklet for the specifics. We will send home flyers periodically to help you keep up to date with what’s happening at Awana.
Parents are asked to pay for their clubber’s uniform, handbook and award badge. Uniforms need to be paid for in advance. Handbooks and badges can be paid for after they are received. If paying for these items is difficult, please see Commander Jack or Miss Carole. Also see them if you are interested in helping Awana in any way.

Most importantly, thank you for allowing us to work with your children.
